Hi,

I've got a few problems with Word 2003 (Dutch):

1. When I for instance type this:

Hello

Bye

and I select 'Bye', and make it Bold using ctrl-b, 'Hello' also gets Bold (and this goes for anything else in the document).

When I click undo once, it corrects this issue and makes only the selected word Bold.

2. Same for Underline and Italic

3. When I click Bullets, ALL lines in the complete document get bulleted. When I click undo ... (same as 1).

4. This also goes for numbering.

In AutoMarkup (don't know what's it called in English) i deselected everything! In options I deselected smart this and smart that.

Do you have a solution?

Thank very much!

Kind regards,

Jelle.

I found it myself:

In menu Styles, diable automatically update style.

When you make a selection Bold (--> example) with automatically update style checked, Word applies this as the new style for alle elements in your document. So uncheck it and all described problems are solved.

Kind regards,

Jelle.
