Turn off format change tracking

A quick question: how do I prevent the Track Changes feature from tracking formatting changes? I thought I could do that by unchecking Tools -> Options -> Edit -> Keep track of formatting. But after I've done that, it's still tracking the formatting. Thanks!!

I don't which version of WORD you are using but in general you turn off "track formatting" through the track changes settings.

If you have 2003, you can do this through the Reviewing toolbar. If you have 2000, go to Tools, Track Changes, Highlight Changes, then options.

Thanks Deb G.! I am able to turn off the track formatting feature from the Reviewing toolbar and I have XP. I guess the Tools -> Options -> Edit -> Keep track of formatting that I unchecked is for something else unrelated to Track Changes. Thanks for answering my question! ;)
