Key Combination to Save and Close

Is there a single keystroke or key combination to save a Word document and then immediately close Word; with one keystroke??

I'm not aware of any pre-set keystroke combinations but this is relatively easy to do with a recorded macros. Once you have recorded your actions, you can either assign the macros to the keyboard or to your toolbar of choice.

Goto Tools-Macros. Select Word Commands from Macros in. Select FileSave. Select Normal.Dot from the same dropdown. Click Create. Modify the Macro.
