View Full Version : problem with word templates while converting from word 2000 to word 2003

Hi,

I have some word templates developed in word 2000.Recently we upgraded our pcs to word 2003.I have bookmarks fixed to these templates....and data is coming from database for the boookmarked locations.While printing the templates in word2003
I am not able to see the borders for tables.Is there any way I can fix it ....any help is appreciated.

I am assuming that you can not see the borders on the screen. There is an option under Tables to show gridlines. Gridlines show on the screen but do not print but they enable you to have a view of the tables instead of seeing things all over the document. Two thing you should do is set the Show/Hide icon to view returns and tabs and set Word to view gridlines. Even if you don't do this normally, do it when you run into problems.

If this problem is on the printed page make sure that what you are seeing on the screen are borders and not gridlines.
