We have some dollar figures in a data source that we need to use in a merge letter. How can we get the merged field to show the thousands separator with numbers? The data source is an excel spreadsheet that has the cells formatted for currency with the thousands separator. That separator doesn't pull through to the word merge field.
I can't find a way to do this. It must be something simple! Is there a switch for the merge field code??
