Outlook Express Deleted Items Folder

Messages in my Deleted Items folder keep dissapearing. The folder only keeps items that are two days old, anything older than two days just dissappear! I have not made any settings that would make my deleted items go away. I did recently switch my ISP to MSN Premium, but they tell me they have nothing to do with OE. Prior to switching ISPs, I had no problem with saving deleted items for as long as I wanted. I need help! Thanks!
