Digital Signatures

I obtained a digital signature from Verisign for my hotmail account. I can see the signature if I go to Tools->Options->Security->Digital IDs in Outlook Express. But when I go to Tools->Accounts->Mail->Properties->Security and click 'Select' to open the 'Select Default Account Digital ID', I see no certificate listed here. And hence am not able to digitally sign my messages. Any ideas??
