I have office 97, others have just been upgraded to office 2000. Those with the upgraded software are now receiving annoying pop-ups when they read a new e-mail. The pop-ups tell them that the sender has requested a confirmation that the message has been read. We want to continue requesting these confirmations on all e-mails sent, but want to know if there's a way to eliminate the pop-up messages. Does anyone know how to do this? We are on the exchange server if that means anything.
Thanks
Marnie

Hi Marnie,
You can set that option at :
Tools_Options
Preferences Tab
Click E-mail Options button
Click Tracking Options
In next window:
You will see 3 options below that form and "Ask me before sending a response" option is selected. This is what causes that pop up confirmation dialog.
Select "Always send a response" to avoid that confirmation popup.
(You can also disable sending responses by selecting "Never Send a response" option on same form.)
I hope this helps.
Regards
