I am presently working with FrontPage 2002 and would like to customize a FrontPage database template site. The goal is the following:
The site is intended for a small business that gives pre employment physicals to include laboratory tests. The features that would be needed are:
There are four agents that will be entering data. I would want each agent to login and be lead to a dedicated page for data entry. Each agent could only connect to their own page.
There would be a master access file and each of the agents entries would append to the master file. The master file would be accessible to an account with greater permissions than the agents
Ideally, more than one agent could enter data simultaneously and not be able to alter data after submission
Addition of security and monitoring features above that which comes with the application
I would ask the following:
What features in FrontPage exist that would allow any of the above requirements? Note… I do own FrontPage 2003. Are there features that would address the requirements?
What tools and or scripting outside of FrontPage exists to facilitate the above requirements?
If development is indicated how involved/costly would it be?
