Importing .pst files to Outlook Express

Recently I had to reinstall my OS, and exported all of my Outlook Express 6 messages into Outlook.pst so I wouldn't lose them. I have that file stored on my desktop.

Now that I have OE6 reinstalled, I go to Import -> Messages, and select Microsoft Outlook Express 6 to import from, then the folder I have the .pst file stored in, but doesn't find it.

Any ideas on how to get my 18MB file worth of emails and folders restored back into OE?

PST files work with Outlook, not Outlook express.

Try choosing Microsoft Outlook as the program to import from.

If that doesn't work, I'd set up Outlook and get your files there, and THEN import, because it may be looking in a specific folder for your Outlook PST...
