combo box as driver

I have a quick question. Is there an easy way to make the selection in a combobox the driver vs. the record selector? I need to be able to edit the other fields/textboxes on the form so making them bound to the combo is a problem.

I m not sure that I completely understand the question, but if it means what I think then try the following:

-Select the <b>Wizard</b> on the Toolbox
-Create a new combo box
-The <b>Combo Box Wizard</b> will allow 3 options. The third option should allow you to search for records in the form.
