I might be inclined to turn this question on its head and subject to Hard Drive space, I would look to the Operating System Platform minimum specs.

For Office 2000, you should run Windows 98 and above, or NT4, and would say if you run these OK Office will run., Kind of bland answer, but unless you cain the system with long codes, or very big files most should bounce all on all OK.

BTW I run Win2k and Office 2k on a basic PI 166mmx and 64mb on 3gb hard disk, all is fine.
